How much poorer do you think Britain will be in 5 years time ?

I mean, there are so many resources on the planet to be shared around and according to today's figures China has just powered past Japan to become the worlds second richest country. Now they only have the USA to overtake. With China consuming more the logical conclusion is that we and a lot of other countries will have to consume less and by definition become poorer, especially as other SE Asian countries such as VietNam and Malaysia are on the rise as well, not to mention South American nations, the most notable of which is Brazil
