I'm so annoyed, please read?

after 2 years of talking or texting every single day, me and this guy (an old ex) finally saw eachother face to face again for the first time in 2 years. the night went well. we had . he said he would call me the next day to make plans for Thursday. I text him a couple times that next day to tell him what a nice time I had with him and how I look forward to seeing him again, etc. He never called me as he promised. He did end up texting me at midnight, telling me that he never got back to me all day because he left his phone in his car and didn't feel like getting it out. So, in 2 years, we never not talked. But the day after we get together, we don't talk because he left his phone in his car! Uggh. All day long I was thinking of him and wondering why he wasn't texting oe calling me like how i'm used to.....and that is the reason why. I explanied to him that that act made me feel pretty crappy and I don't think we will make a good couple afterall if that is how things will be. He text me back saying that he is saddened by my decision. I text him back and said that if he took me seriously, he wouldn't have left his phone in his car all day and not bothered getting it. he didnt text me back. Am I wrong for feeling that was wrong of him??
