Is it ok to use Tap water instead of distilled water for cleaning a piercing?

Just boil some tap water in a kettle pour it on the sea salt let it cool a bit then wash your ears and do that twice a day and don't touch it without washing your hands and you shouldn't get an infection, I know as I have been doing piercings for two years
