Just got a Record Player. What records should I buy?

I know this sounds pretty dumb. It's like some one getting and Ipod and saying "Itunes what?" lol But here me out. I'm 17 and for about 5 years now brutal fast pounding metal has been my savior, with some hard rock and rap in between. But for the first time in ...ever lol I was taken back by the sound of The Beatles. I know enough about Vinyl to know I'm not going to find Slipknot on any Record racks so please tell me the names of some good punk/metal bands that might be. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure a girl would find a clic Record player a bit more romantic than an IHome. lol So what are some Albums I should buy to ...umm.. woe girls? xDD I know I sound horrible but I wanna be romantic and cool and original for my genoration! XD So can anyone help me out?
