What good Oscar worthy NEW releases are availabe on DVD especially dramas (10 EASY PTS.)?

I wanted to pick out some movies for my mom who is her in 60's (she's really "hip" though and doesn't mind like some , mild violence, and swearing) who mainly likes dramas and foreign films. She doesn't like comedies much especially slapstick ones. I already picked out "CHANGELING" and "The Secret Life of Bees" and reserved "Slumdogs". What else is there that is out now on DVD or soon will be that has great acting and is just a good movie? What about the one w/Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet? What's that called?
