Why do these people think that it hink i'm the ****.?

Okay at school i hang around with all the jocks/popular and cool kids. but a few months ago my friends asked me this question that really caught me ny surprise. They asked me why do i think i'm such a hard ***. I said i don't and they were all serious and said yeah you do. they started telling em they were the only people in school who actually like me and that evryone hates me and they said to me uyou think you are the coolest kid ins chool and you think your the **** and better than everybody else and i absoloutley dont. Now i dont think everyone thinks that of me but i wnat to know why they would say that to me and for your info I am in High School. I know they arent jealous of me and I want to know what could make them think that of me.
